Neon Bastion Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 25, 2026

This policy covers the Neon Bastion game, Android package `com.gentso.neonbastion`, and explains how its current offline gameplay handles information.

Information stored by the game

Neon Bastion stores game progress, currencies, research, unlocked skills, enemy knowledge, stage records, equipment, skill-pool choices, settings and suspended runs on your device. Local recovery copies help restore a save after an interrupted write. This information is used to run the game and restore your progress. The game does not send it to us.

No game account or sign-in is required. The current game has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking cookies, in-app purchases or developer-operated cloud save service. It does not collect or transmit your location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, advertising identifier or gameplay analytics to the developer or advertising partners. We do not sell game data.

Save export and clipboard

If you select Export progress, the game creates a text representation of your progress and copies it to your device clipboard. If you select Paste code, it reads the clipboard to import the save you provide. It does not continuously monitor your clipboard. The game does not upload exported saves. You control where you paste or send them; any app or service you use to keep or share a save operates under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Local progress is retained until you reset or remove it. Use Settings > Hard reset to reset game progress and preferences, or clear the app's storage in Android settings to remove its local files. Uninstalling normally removes the Android app's local data. The current Android build disables Android app-data backup. Copies you exported into notes, files or other services must be deleted separately from those locations. For the browser version, clear the site's stored data using your browser settings. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase progress stored only on your device. Step-by-step instructions are on the your data page.

Support correspondence

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request and investigate reported problems. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Support messages may be processed by our email provider. We keep them only as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations. You may contact us to request deletion.

Stores, hosting and external services

Google Play and your device platform handle downloads, updates and their own diagnostics under their privacy policies. This is separate from the game's local save system. Opening this policy or other external links uses your browser. GitHub Pages hosts this policy and may process technical request information, such as your IP address, to serve and secure the website, under GitHub's privacy statement. The policy page itself does not embed advertising, analytics, forms or third-party fonts.

Children and future changes

The game does not request age, name or contact information during gameplay. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the game. If you believe a child has sent personal information in a support message, contact us to request removal. Neon Bastion is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

If advertising, online accounts, cloud saving or analytics are added, we will update this policy and the relevant store disclosures before those features are introduced, and seek consent where required. The effective date above identifies the latest policy revision.
